Creative 4 The Mind

I don’t usually talk about my mental health but I’ve always kept it in and now that I’ve created this blog I can actually start to tell someone. In the end i just want to be happy and help others in my situations.

Mental health is something that occurs in most peoples lives at least once in their lifetime. In these times now we are more open about mental health and more aware of it which is good that because when I was younger I didn’t really understand why I was feeling sad and down and now I am more aware and i can understand how to cope with it.

If I was to write everything going on in my head right now, I really wouldn’t know where to start. I created this blog to get thoughts off my mind and to explain my feelings and how i got to…

Nobody Cares About You? GOOD!

be your own boss , motivation , real talk

MAJOR MARVIN

I was not popular in school, and I was definitely not a ladies’ man. And I had a very painful adolescence, because it was all very strange to me. It wasn’t like I got beat up, but the humiliation and isolation, and the existential ‘God, I exist, and nobody cares’ of being a teenager were extremely pronounced for me.

Joss Whedon

There’s a magic trick I’ve recently picked up and it has proven successful in killing completely my desire to chase girls. Whenever I see a girl I’m attracted to and the desire to get her comes, I remember the times I’ve failed with all the girls I’ve had a crush on and it snaps me back to reality.

In other words I have quit the game on chasing women and focused more on improving myself. Chasing women will only chase them right out of one’s life. Men who are…

My Fitness Journey | Choosing Yourself First

Blissfully jess

“You haven’t been yourself in about 2-3
years”
is what my mom said to me a year ago. We were
having a conversation about possible depression and seeing my doctor to get on
an antidepressant. I didn’t have health insurance at the time, so we were
trying to figure out how I was going to pay for the doctor visit, as well as
the medication. I was a mess, my mental health was a mess.

I had just started a job that I thought was my “big break” I was looking for to get my career off the ground. I was trying to convince myself that I enjoyed this job, but I really didn’t. I hated it and wasn’t good at it, at all. I would pack a gym bag to go to the gym right after work, but would talk myself out of actually going because I was “too…

Motivate Life

Life is beautiful.

Sometimes something makes you smile and you realise that life isn’t ALWAYS bad.

There is that one random moment that will happen that will just make you stop and smile, it happens often sometimes we just don’t see it, or choose to ignore it.

It could be as simple as someone smiling at you in the street, or letting you out at a junction (assuming you drive). Just something little that another human does for one another.

They make you realise that actually sometimes you can rely on the beauty of our human nature to force our minds to remember that everything is ok.

Life is beautiful, and everything does get better even though it won’t feel like it all the time. We can hide away all we like but sometimes those moments outside in the real world are what make life worth living.

I’ve learnt lately…

“I don’t have time” – Everyone

As much as we might hope or expect it to, life is not going to slow down so you can finally start your project, finish your book, take that trip or get some alone time. We all have the same amount of time in the day and we each have to learn how to get what we need in the time that we have. Or you don’t, which probably makes you feel overwhelmed and angry and eventually exhausted. You might start to feel like you don’t have a say in what you do because your time is owned by everyone else.

Laugh As Much As You Can

Yuhakko 语학子

I’ve always been someone who laughs a lot. It’s not that I force myself, it’s just that I have been brought up this way by my parents. My parents always loved to make fun of one other lightly and my father, for the longest time, has been making the stupidest dad jokes and word plays.

This grew on me and despite the fact that stupid jokes are usually looked down upon, I have kept on doing them. To this day, my favorite joke is the below foolish one:

“It’s a guy who comes into a bar and says:
‘Hey! It’s me!’
Everybody turns around… and it wasn’t him.”

Now, the reaction to this one is usually either a puzzled face due to a lack of understanding or a nice laugh. No matter the reaction, this always makes me laughs and be proud of myself for saying it.

Just thinking…
